Philologos Comments: What is the great apostasy that is mentioned in the Bible all about? Some people believe it will be a blast of pure evil in the latter days that will overwhelm the earth. But it's more subtle than that. People laugh at the image of a red horned Satan wielding a pitchfork as naive and unsophisticated yet they welcome his hip minions with their perfect smiles, perfect wives, perfect families and perfect lives.
