Hello,

Yes thank you everybody for your prayers for Matthew, there are many
of you praying and it is working. As of Sunday afternoon his eyes have
brightened and he is looking around. The doctor began allowing Matthew
20 mls of milk (Alfalay: an easily digestible formula) every four
hours (not enough according to Matthew) and he was able to digest this
amount. This has now been increased to 50 mls every four hours.

While this is good news, we still don't know why his blood becomes
acidic with the loss of sodium, but we are confident that, given the
amount of prayers being said for Matthew, he will become healthy
again.

Matthew's Godfather, Craig Menzel, went in to see him on Sunday at
about 5 p.m. Matthew still had that glazed nobody home look when Craig
arrived. Craig read him the Aaronic prayer from Numbers 6 with his
hand on Matthew's head, and prayed for healing using Eph. 1:19 and
3:20.

Matthew's eyes cleared and he began looking around.

Craig then put his pocket NT on Matthew's chest (and which Matthew
gripped) and prayed that any evil spirits in Matthew and in the
Neo-natal unit leave in the name of Jesus. About three minutes later
Matthew gave a loudish cry, relaxed completely, and fell asleep.

I think that Craig was used by God to put all those prayers to work.
May God bless him and his family abundantly and may God bless all of
you who have given a moment's prayer to God about Matthew.
