Dear Ronni:

Sorry I'm so long in getting back to you. I've been meaning to. The
interesting thing is the first word of the Gospel of Mark is "beginning".
"The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God." If the first
sentence of the Gospel stresses the beginning of the Gospel, would the very
same Gospel end on the word of an angel that Jesus, the Son of God had risen
with no human witnesses and the women's fear?

Is the Gospel complete here? Each gospel may be written to different groups
and emphasize different points but they together complete the "Gospel". Both
Mark (in the full version) and Luke give witness to the ascension. Matthew
and John do not. If Mark's is missing there is only one witness. God's word
says there must be two or three witnesses for the word to be established.
One witness to the ascension in four Gospel's does not fit God's definition.
The ascension is central to the gospel. Yes it is stated in Acts, Epistles
and Revelation that Lord Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father and is
ascended into the heavenlies but Mark is writing the beginning of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ through the end.

God does not appear to be done in verse 8.Verses 9-15 give time and day of
Resurrection, acknowledgement to Mary Magdalene, Jesus appearing to the two
on the road, Jesus appearing to, reproving and commissioning the Apostles.
Jesus gives doctrine in Verses 16-18. He ascends in 19 and approves the
Apostles preaching in verse 20. Then the Gospel ends. The last 12 verses are
essential to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Would Mark be taking a vacation at
verse 8 for some unnamed party to finish?

Jeremiah and all the rest of the prophets were able to finish their parts. I
have no problem with Jeremiah collating the Torah and writing a sentence or
two as required by God.

It is surmised that Gnostics got a hold of a copy of Mark and took out the
last 12 verses to support their heresy. They did not like the ascension.
They were not able to tear it out of Luke. It was one of the first
tamperings and helped birth the reprobate manuscript line later immortalized
by Wescott and Hort.

As to writing styles from so-called scholars, ultimately it's God's writing
style. The so-called scholars try to say that Isaiah has two different
writing styles, indicating more than one author. Lord Jesus Christ didn't
think so, he quoted from both parts referring to one Isaiah.

Does any of this make sense? I'll look for the Panin piece and forward it to
you. Love to you, Diana

Dear Joachim:

My name is Charlie Baker. I am an ex-Canadian, who is now an American
citizen, living in Macon, Georgia, a good sized city in the mid-south section of
the eastern United States. Greetings, in the name of the Lord!

Your question regarding the 1,290 days is of special interest to me as I
have some ideas, ideas that I think are scripturally sound, about those days as
well as the 1,335 days, of Daniel 12:12, and of the abomination of Daniel
12:11. I would be happy to share and discuss them you, if you should wish, but
I should warn you that I am not prepared to argue. I am very happy to discuss
them with anyone but only on the basis that the foundation of the discussion is
the belief that the Bible, in the original autographs, is the literal word of
God and must be interpreted on that basis. Therefore, if an intepretation of
certain scriptures does not 'mesh' with other scriptures then the interpretation
must be changed, not the scriptures. Praise the Lord!

I think you are right about this site and I thank the Lord for giving
Ronnie, Moza and all the others involved, the time, the means and the desire, to
serve Him and maintain it. Praise the Lord!

    God Bless you. Charlie Baker.

Joakim,
Just my thoughts here .. why would God want to build a Temple with
all of the trappings of ritual for Christians who are the temples?
Also since Jesus is the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE why would he want to build
a temple for sacrifices since it was done once and for all. He said "It is
finished"..
Yes the Jewish nation has not believed on HIM and they see a need
for the Temple to be built,-- but do you think Christians who believe in
the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE OF JESUS should be financially supporting a temple
that is going to be built for the antichrist . This has always boggled my
mind. Yet Christians are really into this , and into the temple mount
faithful group. They are only preparing for the antichrist and building
his temple .. God will build one by Himself not made with hands ... Amen
Just some thoughts on this .....

Subject: RE: [bprlist] Daniel's 4 digit numbers
From: "Susan
Date: Tue, 20 Feb 2001 21:41:15 -0900

Welcome to the list from S.E. Alaska where it is already starting to thaw-

Regarding your post about Daniel's numbers 1,290 and 1,335... I agree that
these numbers have to do with time and perhaps it is the age in years of the
Mosque as you suggest. I have wondered about these numbers and looked for
explanations also. No one can say since Scripture is not for private
interpretation, but we can all speculate.

There is an exact time cycle of eclipses in the heavens that the ancients
knew about and apparently thought very important. It is incorporated in
Stonehenge and other sacred monuments. Don't get me wrong I'm not into
astrology--rather astronomy. This link will explain the pattern of eclipses
that Our Father, the Creator place in the sky for signs and seasons. As
with many things that God intends to be a blessing, Satan has perverted so
we will not see the truth and know Our Savior better.

Eclipses occur in a regular predictable pattern:

I quote from http://www.earthview.com/tutorial/patterns.htm

A series of eclipses, each separated by this 18-year 11-1/3-day cycle, is
called a saros series. Because the resonance between 19 eclipse years and
the saros is not exact (0.46-day difference), a saros series cannot go on
indefinitely. Eventually a series reaches a point when the eclipses are no
longer visible; the umbra passes too far above or below the Earth to be
seen. A single saros series spans over 1,200 years and includes between 68
and 75 solar eclipses. end of quote

About 40 saros series are working over the surface of the earth at any given
time (see picture in link above). These vary in length. Astronomers have
numbered them. I have been looking unsuccessfully for a complete list.
Saros series #130 is very interesting because it is 1334.5 years long from
1096AD to 2394AD. Saros series #127 is 1298 years from 991AD to 2452AD.
Some sources vary these numbers, but they are in the range of Daniel's 1,290
and 1,335. These numbers of years are not changeable by kings and
rulers--they are written into the heavens and with our computers we can
research the matter exactly. They can be anchored to dates in Scriptures
since an eclipse was recorded at the crucifixion. We can even know the
location of the shadow of these eclipses. I only hope others more able to
research these possiblities will continue to search in this direction.

I am well aware of making too much of some things and perhaps as you say,
"However I have learned there are soo many people digging for hidden secrets
in Gods Word that they make a hen out of a feather." I like the expression,
but these days with DNA sampling and cloning even this is now possible. A
careful exploration by a trained scientist shows a wonder of detail that God
designed into a feather which containing enough encoded information to most
likely identify the species of fowl and who knows even turn residual DNA
left on the feather back into a hen! Sue
