Presidential Candidate Al Gore

Some of our Messianic Jewish friends are very concerned by the
possibility of a man named Al Gore being elected President of
the United States. They say the name Al Gore to them stands for
“all gory” or “all bloody.”

They believe people live-out their names and used former Israeli
Prime Minister's names as examples; According to Young's
Exhaustive Concordance, Shimon Peres´ last name means to divide
or part, and he was very divisive leader when in office and
still is; Yitzhak Rabin's last name means strong man, and he was
a strong leader; Benjamin Netanyahu´s last name means the “gift
from God” or “God's gift,” he was very protective of Israel
during his time in office; Ehud Barak´s last name means
lightning, and Ehud means strong, forceful or splendor. (Barak´s
name has yet to play-out but seems to be moving in that
direction.)

Subject: The Lord works in strange ways Hmmmmmm.....!

Subject: Gore

The Lord has a way of revealing those of us who really know Him,
and those that don't. Think about it! Al Gore gave a big speech
this week about how his faith is so important to him. In this
attempt to convince the American people that we should consider
him for president, he announced that his favorite Bible verse is
John 16:3. Of course the speech writer meant John 3:16, but
nobody in the Gore camp was familiar enough with scripture to
catch the error. Do you know what John 16:3 says? "And they
will do this because they have not known The Father nor Me" The
Holy Spirit works in strange ways!!!

welcome Pope John Paul II with the traditional greeting: Blessed be your
coming to Israel.

From the holy city of Jerusalem, about which the prophet Zechariah said:
"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion…And many nations shall join
themselves to the Lord in that day and shall be My people, and I will
dwell in the midst of you." (Zechariah 2:14-15) We welcome one who saw
fit to express remorse in the name of the Catholic Church for the terrible
deeds committed against the Jewish People during the course of the past
2,000 years and even appointed a commission for requesting forgiveness
from the Jewish nation with regard to the Holocaust.

We remember and mention to his credit the decisive assistance he gave in
the matter of moving the Carmelite Convent out of the area of the
Auschwitz concentration camp, a place where millions of our brothers and
sisters were murdered for the Sanctification of the Name, sacrificed for
the sole reason that they were "called by the Name of the Lord."

We appreciate as well his recognition of our right to return to, and live
in, the Holy Land in peace and brotherhood within safe borders recognized
by the nations of the world and especially by our neighbors. All these
things were given expression in the prayer he offered at Auschwitz
(11.6.99) for the success of the Israeli people's efforts for peace.

We, the Chief Rabbis of Israel, representing the Jewish People dwelling in
the Holy Land, express our hope and faith that the prophesies will be
fulfilled, of Malachi: "Behold, I will send you Elijah the Prophet before
the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord," (Malachi 3:22), and
of Zechariah: "Thus says the Lord: I return unto Zion, and will dwell in
the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called The City of Truth
and the Mountain of the Lord of Hosts, the Holy Mountain…There shall yet
sit old men and women in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his
staff in his hand for very age. And the broad places of the city shall be
full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof." (Zechariah,

From Jerusalem, capital of the State of Israel, and from Zion, the holy
city, we pray that we may be granted a good and long life, a life of peace
and security, health and peace of mind, a life of human brotherhood. May
it be His will that the words of the prophet be fulfilled: "Nation shall

Sun's hidden twin stalks planet Earth

When the end of the world comes, we'll know what to blame. Scientists
have found compelling evidence that the Sun has a baby brother, a dark
star whose eccentric orbit is responsible for periodically showering the
Earth with comets and meteorites.

The dark star - named Nemesis by astronomers - is thought to be a "brown
dwarf" that spins round the Sun in an orbit so large it is measured in
light years, the distance light travels in a year, equivalent to about
6,000 billion miles.

The research suggests that, every 26m years, the star's eccentric orbit
brings it within one light year of the solar system. There it causes
havoc in the Oort Cloud, a huge region surrounding the solar system that
contains billions of bits of cosmic rubble left over from the formation
of planets.

Of the millions of rocks it throws out of orbit at each visit, some
hurtle Earthwards - and have several times nearly wiped out life on
Earth.

Astronomers have long wondered if the Sun has a smaller partner.
Recently, two independent groups of researchers have found evidence of
one.

One group, led by John Matese, professor of physics at the University of
Louisiana at Lafayette, confirms the notion that it is most likely to be
a brown dwarf, a star that never accumulated enough mass to ignite and
which has simply sat in space smouldering for billions of years.

Matese studied 82 comets from the Oort Cloud and found common elements
in the shape of their orbits that could only be explained if they had
been influenced by the gravitational pull of an object several times the
size of Jupiter and existing about 25,000 times farther from the Sun
than the Earth.

Matese said: "A companion to the Sun orbiting at these distances would
have little effect on the planets. But it would play a big role in the
way comets 'made their way' from their birth places in the planetary
disc out to the Oort Cloud and on how they can return to the inner solar
system."

Further research was published last week by Richard Muller, professor of
physics at the University of California, Berkeley, following analyses of
moon rock samples brought back to Earth by Apollo 14.

The absence of a protective atmosphere means the moon has been subjected
to intense bombardment in its 4.5 billion- year existence.

Muller's breakthrough was to find a way to date how long ago any
particle was melted - meaning he could build up a picture of whether the
moon gets a constant barrage or suffers spells of intense bombardment.

He said: "The evidence clearly shows that the moon has gone through
spells of relatively frequent impacts and others of reduced intensity. I
believe it is likely that this is because the Oort Cloud is being
disturbed by a massive body that is throwing comets out of stable
orbits, a small fraction of which could reach the Earth."

Muller and others believe that the dark star probably takes about 26m
years to complete an orbit around the sun.

Other scientists have already noted that mass extinctions of life on
Earth seem to occur in a pattern with gaps equivalent to multiples of
26m, suggesting some regular event is causing the comets to come Earth's
way.

The best-known such event was the one that wiped out the dinosaurs 65m
years ago, but that was not the worst; the planet has suffered several
such large mass extinctions.

Astronomers have found the first Earth-sized planet orbiting another
star. The discovery raises the chances of finding planets that could
support life as we know it.

Insurers to DNA test for genetic illnesses

MINISTERS are to allow insurance companies to use genetic testing to
assess a person's risk of inheriting serious illness. People with a genetic
tendency to chronic conditions will face significantly higher premiums for
medical, life and travel insurance.

In the past, ministers have considered banning genetic testing because of
fears that it would create an under-class unable to obtain insurance cover.
But after a consultation completed last week, the Government is to sanction
a series of reliable genetic tests that insurance firms can use.

It plans to allow the companies to use single gene tests, which show
whether a person with a family history of an illness such as Huntington's
disease - jerky, involuntary movements accompanied by progressive
dementia - is likely to develop it later in life.

Worried consumer and civil liberties groups say that sections of society with
serious medical complaints may be left without cover. Anna Bradley, director
of the National Consumer Council, said: "We would be very concerned about
measures that could stop people getting insurance."

Dr Evan Harris, Liberal Democrat MP for Oxford West and Abingdon, said
that genetic testing should be carried out for medical purposes only. "By
allowing insurers to test for even single gene disorders you are going to get a
genetic under-class. There will be enormous public opposition to this. People
should not take these tests without adequate counselling."

The Department of Health has set up a genetics and insurance committee of
experts to monitor and regulate insurers' use of genetic tests and to agree on
a series of tests that can accurately predict a life-threatening illness. The
committee will regulate which laboratories are allowed to carry out the tests.

Government advisers feared that unless testing was permitted, insurers would
carry out the tests with no regulation. The new policy will start by September
when up to seven tests will be presented to the experts for Government
approval.

Insurers believe that within five years, as technology develops, genetic
tests will be widespread and could cover such inherited illnesses as breast
cancer, cystic fibrosis, Alzheimer's and sickle cell disease. They say that the
use of tests could help people with a family history of a disease gain lower
premiums because they will be able to rule out the prospect of developing the
disease.

The Association of British Insurers said: "Because genetic testing is in its
infancy, the number of people who could take such a test is small. But the
numbers could well be more of an issue in the future, in five years or less."

Under the plans, insurers will not have the power to force people to take
genetic tests. But they will be able to ask those with a family history of a
disease to take one. They will also have the right to ask whether people have
taken a genetic test and to demand to see the results.

A spokesman for the Department of Health said: "The genetics and insurance
committee has been set up to receive applications to demonstrate the
validity of tests, but the industry will have to prove that such tests are
reliable. If the insurance company thinks you have a genetic condition, it
can load a policy."

Insurance premiums are traditionally weighted according to risk. Smokers
and people with a history of chronic illness pay more. A positive test for a life-
threatening illness could increase premiums five-fold.

About four per cent of people applying for life assurance have to pay between
50 per cent and five times more than ordinary applicants. Around one per
cent are not accepted because the risks are considered too high.

Hacker-controlled tanks, planes and warships?

Army officials are worried that sophisticated hackers and other
cybercriminals, including military adversaries, may soon have the ability
to hack their way into and take control of major military weapon systems
such as tanks and ships.

Speaking this month at the annual Army Directors of Information
Management Conference in Houston, Army Maj. Sheryl French, a program
manager responsible for the Army's Information Assurance Architecture for
the Digitized Force, said the potential exists for hackers to infiltrate the
computer systems used in tanks and other armored vehicles. Unlike in the
past, today's modern tanks and ships are almost entirely dependent on
computers, software and data communications links for functions such as
navigation, targeting and command and control.

Although the Pentagon has always had computer security issues to deal
with, "we've never had computers" in tanks and armored personnel carriers
before, said French, pointing to a picture of an M-1 Abrams Main Battle
Tank.

In fact, the Defense Department has already tested and proven that hackers
have the ability to infiltrate the command and control systems of major
weapons, including Navy warships. According to a training CD-ROM on
information assurance, published by the Defense Information Systems
Agency, an Air Force officer sitting in a hotel room in Boston used a laptop
computer to hack into a Navy ship at sea and implant false navigation data
into the ship's steering system.

"Yes, this actually happened," the CD-ROM instructs military personnel
taking the course. "Fortunately, this was only a controlled test to see
what could be done. In reality, the type of crime and its objective is
limited only by people's imagination and ability."

John Pike, a defense and intelligence analyst with the Federation of
American Scientists, said that although there are well-known security gaps
in the commercial systems that the Army plans to use on the battlefield,
hacking into tanks and other weapons may prove to be too difficult for an
enemy engaged in battle.

"The problem for the enemy is that computer security vulnerabilities will
almost certainly prove fleeting and unpredictable," said Pike, adding that
such tactics would be nearly impossible to employ beyond the random
harassment level.

To the Nation´s Honored Leaders!

We hereby forewarn you that the authorization granted for the
Papal visit to Jerusalem, and the welcome he is scheduled to
receive on the Temple Mount by a delegation from the Palestinian
Authority, is an action that will never be forgiven by the
Jewish people for all time.

The Temple Mount—our nation´s soul, as well as our aspiration
towards the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, has been wantonly
abandoned. This, in spite of the return of the mountain to our
people by the grace of the G-d of Israel after long years of
exile, following the eternal, historic announcement that
reverberates within the heart and mind of every Jew—“the Temple
Mount is in our hands.” With these words, the process of the
return to Zion reached its apex…with the liberation of the
Temple Mount in 1967. Yet despite all this, through the
framework of the Supreme Court´s rulings; through government
policy, both clandestine and open; through the Knesset´s
silence…you have seen fit to encourage the continuous process of
the Jewish people´s disintegration. This process is accomplished
through your inspiration, at your encouragement, and with your
approval, and it is a massive, horrible desecration of the name
of G-d.

The practical expression of your decisions has been manifest
through the course of the years since the liberation of the
Mountain and the city of Jerusalem, through the continual
weakening of the State of Israel´s rule over the Temple Mount,
the agreement to deny Jewish people the right to pray on the
Mount, the transfer of the Mount to the hands of the Palestinian
Wakf, and the turning of a blind eye to the brutal excavations
that have recently been carried out. The entire essence of the
Moslem Wakf´s control of the Temple Mount and all of its
activities, are all calculated to demonstrate that there has
never been any such thing as the Jewish people. This is the
product of an insatiable drive to extinguish all trace of our
memory from that place which is the center of sanctity for the
Jewish people and the entire world.

This process reaches its apex in this humiliating and degrading
visit. This visit is intended to validate, on the backs of the
Jewish people, the agreement signed last month between the Pope
and Arafat…that very agreement which establishes that Jerusalem
shall be divided! The State of Palestine shall be established,
and the State of Israel will comply with the decisions of the

United Nations….and thus, cease to exist, Heaven forbid.

Your active silence, and your approval of these official
policies of the enemy on the Temple Mount, transforms you, to
our great distress, into partners in the final outcome of
destruction which cannot be prevented.

The eternal Jewish people demands of you to overcome and be
strengthened, and to cancel the agreement for this stage of the
Papal visit. It is still possible to prevent this visit to the
Temple Mount, and every other official State visit between the
heads of our enemies throughout the Land of Israel. There is
still time for you to make known that this sort of meeting, and
its implied objective, bears witness to the evil of these
nations, who have not learned the lessons of the past two
thousand years. The Pope´s apology for the crimes committed by
the Church against the Jewish people is null and
void in the face of the itinerary he plans for this visit!

We await the government of Israel´s announcement that Israel´s
sovereignty over the Temple Mount is alive and well, and that it
fully intends to implement this sovereignty as practice and
policy until the building of Third Holy Temple, speedily and in
our days.

HUGE CHUNK OF ROSS ICE SHELF BREAKS OFF
An iceberg the size of Connecticut has broken off of Antarctica and could
drift into the shipping lanes of the South Pacific Ocean. The iceberg is
one of the largest recorded at 183 miles (294 km) long by 22 miles (35 km)
wide. The iceberg broke off of the Ross Ice Shelf, which now has a boundary

Events Unfolding Reflect Noted Prophecy...03/21/00

Events are beginning to unfold rapidly. As mentioned, I am keeping a
close eye on Pope John Paul II. His historical journey is unmatched. I
have received information from a source close to the case, Pope John
Paul is being watched very closely "from the inside". I suppose this is
not a shock to many of us, but it keeps me at a high level of anxiety
knowing some of what is going on.

It's true, the pope will indeed be going to Fatima, yes that's right
Fatima, on May 13th. This happens to be the date the three children of
Fatima, Francisco and Giacinta Marto (brother/sister), and Lucia dos
Santos who is still alive, had a profound experience when the Virgin
Mary appeared to them. It was at this time, three secrets of prophecy
were given to them. It is the 3rd Secret Of Fatima that tells of this
very time we are in right now.

As you will note in the Third Secret, it is believed Pope John himself
had visions of the Blessed Mary which he referrers to as 'Markka'. He
may indeed have been guided by his experience. Let us all keep a very
close eye on events which may unfold. It is believed that April 13th
(perhaps a few days before or after) we will see a sign from the sky.
The skies will turn red for a period of 20 minutes. Some will not
survive just from fear alone. It is the "Warning" which tells us to
"reflect and correct" to get right with ourselves and God. One year
later will come the "Miracle". It is believed this is the time of
judgment.

Events Unfolding

* Montserrat Volcano Erupts With Fury. Montserrat's newly revived
volcano hurled glowing rocks high into the sky, triggered fiery
avalanches and shot a thundering ash cloud as high as 30,000 feet,
scientists said today.

* Sunspot counts hits 240 today. This is a count of 90 higher than
NASA's prediction of "Cycle 23" highest point (apex) which is predicted
to be 150. Also three straight days of M-Class flares with possible

As you can see, these are indeed exciting times. Reminder, do not follow
my truth, follow Your Truth. Seek and you shall
find. Find what? Your Truth! As events escalate others may ask you to
follow them. Pause...be cautious, walk slowly but always forward. Ask
questions, meditate, be willing but be knowing. Clear yourself of
distraction i.e., drugs/alcohol, compulsive work habits, obsessions
(includes computers). Reflect and Correct! What is really most important
to you. Money? Car? Women/Men? Job?.......Family? Community?
Spirituality? Nature? Self?

I mean to not have judgment with what is important to you. I have no
idea what is in your best interest or what it would look like for your
journey. And it is not my place to tell you what is good for you. I
believe in what Carl Jung calls "Synchronisity". This means whatever is
happening in your life at this very moment is part of a bigger whole.
This would suggest that even in times of regression, pain, discomfort,
apparent wrong decisions that they to are part of the journey. Of course
all the good and wonderful events apply as well. But who do you know
that has any trouble accept joyous events. Promotion, new car, finding
your soul mate, vacations, good health. It is ALL part of the whole.

Let us watch together as events unfold. Look for the street signs that
call out to you that tell you which way to go. There are many roads
which lead to a collective place. Follow your path, not that of others.
What you will find is that even though it is your journey, you will
never be alone. There are so many like minded people that I am confident
you will experience many who have chosen the very same streets you have.

Satellites Reveal Earthquake Faults Along Eastern US

                  If you search a satellite image of upstate New York -- or just
                  about anywhere in the United States -- you can pick out a
                  maze of lines, winding paths and other patterns.

                  Robert Jacobi, a geologist who hunts for earthquake faults, is
                  not interested in most of these lines, which represent roads,
                  fences, ditches, pipelines or other things built by people.

                  Jacobi is interested in natural lines, or lineaments, as he calls
                  them: simple streams; a long row of dead, dying or stressed
                  plants; maybe a hint of out-of-place autumn color skipping
                  along the top of a forest canopy.

                  Any of these subtle features could represent areas where
                  otherwise hidden earthquake faults allow life-giving water, or
                  less benign natural gas, to seep to the surface.

                  And in a new study of upstate New York released earlier this
                  month, the University of Buffalo's Jacobi and others have
                  combined Landsat data with airborne and ground-based
                  information to uncover what appears to be more than 50
                  previously unknown fault systems, each with myriad small
                  branches.
